Today, 130 of Israel's leading economists published a harsh letter strongly warning that the government's policy is leading the country towards the abyss and endangering its very existence. According to economists, if the current trend continues, many of those bearing the economic and security burden will prefer to emigrate from Israel, and the most educated and skilled people in particular will be the first to leave. “Clear danger”

Haredim The education system, ending incentives for the unemployed, reducing disparities in the security burden, and constitutional changes that would consolidate liberal rights.

Economists say: “The danger is clear and managing the underlying risks requires the immediate adoption of a strategy that will return Israel to a sustainable path.” “This is a real warning. History will not forgive the country’s leaders – from across the political spectrum – if they stand against it.”

Among the signatories of the letter is Professor Dr. Ethan Sheshinsky, Professor. Manuel Trajtenberg, Professor. Avi Ben Bassat, Professor. Danny Ben David, Dr. Michael Sarrel, Professor. Momi Dahan, Professor. Itay Ater, Professor. Omar Mowaf, Professor. Leo Lederman, Professor. Amir Barnea, Prof. Dr. Yossi Spiegel, and former senior government officials such as David Brodet, Keren Turner, Shaul Meridor, Prof. At the end of April, Prof. Michelle Strawczynski and Ronnie Hezekiah.
