Retail and CFD brokers Tastytrade and LiteFinance on Monday separately revealed new updates on their brokerage business. While the former launched its API, the latter released a “new and improved” version of its mobile trading app for iOS devices.
Tastytrade explained that the new interface, branded “tastytrade-API,” provides its users with the ability to “create software applications for trading with their trading accounts, analyze market data, and connect to other applications and services.”
Tastytrade explained: “Tastytrade provides a fully functional automated environment to test all strategies and applications before clients use their live accounts, as well as a SDK with sample code to get clients started building their trading platforms and retrieve market data” with current status.
On the other hand, LiteFinance noted that the new version of the application designed for the Apple App store offers features such as more than 190 trading tools, copy trading system, professional market analysis and 75 built-in indicators. It also offers over 100 graphical analysis tools, one-click trading and automatic withdrawal of funds up to $3,000.
“The LiteFinance development team has significantly improved the performance of the app, making it faster and more stable,” said LiteFinance. In addition, many new tools have been added to the list of technical indicators and methods of graphic analysis.
Tastytrade Rebrands
In February, Tastytrade rebranded from Tastyworks, to take on the old brand name of the online financial network, Tastylive, which until December last year was known as Tastytrade. However, both Tastylive and Tastytrade are part of the IG Group, a London-based CFD trading provider.
Tastytrade offers options, futures and cryptocurrency trading through its platform to retail investors. LiteFinance, also rebranded from LiteForex in 2021, offers its clients access to forex and CFDs on stocks, indices, commodities and cryptocurrencies.
