A committee of the Republican National Committee today approved the party’s draft 2024 platform, which strongly supports Bitcoin.
On page nine, the project explicitly states: “We will defend the right to mine Bitcoin, ensure that every American has the right to self-custody of their digital assets, and conduct transactions free from government surveillance and control.”

Additionally, she has promised to end what she calls Democrats’ “illegal and un-American crackdown on cryptocurrencies,” and opposes the creation of a central bank digital currency (CBDC).
