Diplomat says the price hike after price hikes from overseas suppliers.
Diplomat Holdings (TASE: DIPL), an Israeli importer of foodstuffs and toiletries, announced that the prices of some of its products would increase from July 1. The price will increase by 4%. Other brands include Jacobs Coffee and Lotus Biscuits, which will rise in price by an average of 6.1%.
Last month, Diplomat announced price increases of up to 25% for some of its products including Heinz, Pringles, Oreos and Milka chocolate.

Diplomat says the price hike after price hikes from overseas suppliers. Regarding tuna prices, Diplomat added that the rise in tuna prices remained low due to the decrease in import duties on fish, although the price of tuna itself had risen sharply over the past year.
“Diplomat continues to make efforts to offer consumer alternative packages and moderate price revisions that only partially compensate for price increases by its suppliers,” Diplomat said.
