Apple Mardware Technology Johny Srouji, whose reports are submitted directly to CEO Tim Cook, made a low work to Israel last week. Souji, the oldest Israelis in the technology giant, led a large delegation of Apple executives who met employees at R&D Apple centers in Herzelly, Haifa and Jerusalem.
During the visit, Srouji discussed Apple activities in Israel and informed “Globes”, “Apple team in Israel is necessary to develop products that experts, businessmen, creators and students around the world use. In the wake of Souji's visit to Israel, “Globes” learned that real estate sources estimated that the new Apple headquarters in Herzelly is expected to be completed and occupied in early 2027. This follows the delay from the original plan, which expected the completion of construction at the end of 2025.
In November 2021, Apple signed an agreement with Bayside Land Corporation (GAV YAM) (Tase: Bysd) to rent 44,000 square meters and 650 places to park a car on campus O2, at the MASKIT, Galgalei Pleda and Madinat Hayehudi intersection in Herzliya. The lease contract was expected to be born annual income of 50 million NIS for Bayside at the time of signing.
As mentioned earlier, according to the agreement, the lease contract for seven years with another 12 -year extension option. The plan includes an additional 37,000 square meters construction in the current wing tower, designed by architect Avener Yashar.
