Revenue development shows mixed results
In the difficult market environment, ASCOM achieved net revenues of 286.7 million Swiss francs for the fiscal year 2024 (2023: 297.3 million Swiss francs), which reflects a 1.6 % decrease in fixed currencies and 3.6 % in actual currencies compared to the previous year.
The development of revenues in the second half of the year 2024 was in line with the level of the previous year, while the revenues of the first six months of 2024 were 2.7 % (with fixed currencies) less than it was in the previous year.

The revenue division by the market sectors showed that the health care sector represents 67 % of the total revenue in 2024 (2023: 66 %) while the institutions sector was 28 % (2023: 28 %). OEM has contributed 5 % of revenues (2023: 6 %). The service company represents 36 % (2023: 35 %), while software works increased to 13 % (2023: 12 %). Revenue from repeated business increased to about 27 % (2023: 25 %)

Powerful arrangement accumulation
In 2024, ASCOM created orders from 307.4 million Swiss francs (2023: CHF 318.6 million), which represents a 1.5 % decrease in fixed currencies and 3.5 % in actual currencies. The rest of the world and OEM business achieved dual growth in fixed currencies to eat it, while the early regions, the northern European, the United States of America and Canada, showed a slight growth. At the end of the year, the accumulation of demand at 301.5 million Swiss francs (31.12.2023: CHF 276.4 million).

Profitability is affected by the low revenues and the height of investments
In the fiscal year 2024, total profits reached 133.3 million Swiss francs (2023: 141.4 million Swiss francs) with a total margin of 46.5 % (2023: 47.6 %). The total margin decreased slightly due to the decrease in revenues and a different product mixture.
With the highest total profit and investment in research and development (R&D) decreased, ASCOCA EBITDA has made from 21.3 million Swiss francs (2023: 30.1 million Swiss francs) for the fiscal year 2024, which led to an EBITDA margin by 7.4 % (2023: 10.1 %). The profitability was in the second year of the year in line with the first half of the year 2024.
Looking at the decrease in EBITDA and the high costs of consumption and firefighting due to investments in R&D and ERP (institutions ’resources planning), EBIT decreased to 7.6 million Swiss francs for the fiscal year 2024 (2023: 20.2 million Swiss francs).
ASCOC fiscal year closed 2024 with a collective profit of 3.7 million Swiss francs (2023: 17.4 million Swiss francs). The share profits of 0.10 Swiss francs (2023: CHF 0.48).

Ascom still has a strong public budget
In 2024, ASCOM created a positive cash flow of operational activities for 20.0 million Swiss francs (2023: 32.5 million Swiss francs). The net cash center from December 31, 2024 reached 18.6 million Swiss francs (31.12.2023: 24.7 million Swiss francs). Ascom has no distinct borrowers as of December 31, 2024.
The shareholders ’rights amounted to 74.4 million Swiss francs (31.12.2023: 78.7 million Swiss francs), the shares rate represents 39.2 % (31.12.2023: 39.9 %).

Outlook for 2025
While the current total economic environment is volatile, the main industry trends in the markets work in the Ascom remaining positive. For the 2025 fiscal year, ASCOM has successfully developing its business, and also benefits from recent years investment. ASCOM is committed to providing a experience of excellence for customers and generating sustainable and profitable growth.
For the fiscal year 2025, ASCOM aims to grow low revenue from number one in a fixed currency and aims to achieve the EBITDA margin from 9 to 10 %.

Capital customization
The Board of Directors proposes distribution of profits from 0.10 Swiss francs per share for the annual general meeting 2025.
Moreover, the Board of Directors plans for the shares redeploying program by up to 10 % of the current stock capital and the maximum amount of the return of the corresponding repurchase of 15 million Swiss francs for the purpose of reducing the capital. The shares re -purchase program is scheduled to be launched in May 2025 and operated on a second trading line on the Swiss Stock Exchange for the next 18 months.

Board of Directors and Administration
All the current members of the Board of Directors stand for re -elected at the annual general meeting 2025.
Dr. Daniel, the company's secretary and a long -term member of the Executive Committee, will step down from June 30, 2025 because of his age and the delivery of investor relations activities to Kalina Scott, financial manager.
