Rent day usually means paying your landlord one of your biggest monthly expenses. But Belt is flipping the script and turning the first day of every month into an opportunity to earn extra points and take advantage of limited-time offers. In September, Belt is offering the chance to maximize your points with moving rewards through two popular programs. Here’s what you need to know.
Belt Rental Day Offers for September 2024
Whether you have a Bilt Mastercard® or not, Rent Day offers give you the opportunity to earn valuable Bilt Rewards points. Each month, there are multiple ways to earn reward points. Sign up for your free Bilt Rewards membership today to start earning.
Double points at the beginning of each month
The Belt MasterCard offers unique benefits for renters, offering attractive perks that anyone can enjoy. It has no annual fee and is the only credit card where you can pay your rent without additional fees. Points can be redeemed for rent, a down payment on a home, travel, transfers to partner airlines and hotels, and more. Plus, the card includes travel and purchase protection, mobile phone insurance, and more.
On the first of each month, Bilt Rewards members earn double points on all non-rental purchases made with their Bilt Rewards Mastercard. Cardholders can earn up to 10,000 bonus points on purchases from 12 a.m. ET to 11:59 p.m. ET.
With this promotion, even purchases from reward categories earn double points without prior activation. Reward categories include:
- Eating: 6 points (3 points regularly)
- Travel: 4 points (regular 2 points)
- Other purchases: 2X points (usually 1X) (excluding rental)
Rental payments receive double points because they are not eligible for double points.
However, cardholders must make at least five purchases per month to earn points.
Avianca LifeMiles Transfer Bonus
All Bilt members will receive a 50% transfer bonus on September 1, 2024 when they transfer their Bilt Points to Avianca LifeMiles. Bilt Points can be transferred in increments of 1,000. The transfer bonus is only available from September 1, 2024 at 12:00 a.m. ET to September 2, 2024 at 2:59 a.m. ET.
Virgin Red Transfer Bonus
Belt members will receive a transfer bonus of up to 100% on September 1 when they transfer their Belt points to Virgin Atlantic Flying Club or Virgin Red.
Belt Points can be transferred in increments of 1,000 points (minimum 2,000 points for Blue members). The membership transfer bonus will be based on your Belt membership status as of the time you choose to transfer your Belt Points on September 1, 2024, as follows:
