A Bloomberg analyst tells investors not to worry about ETF flows

Eric Balchunas, a senior analyst at Bloomberg, believes investors should not pay too much attention to the inflows and outflows of spot Bitcoin ETFs.

Balchunas shared his sentiments in a May 17, 2024 post on X. Furthermore, the analyst noted that spot Bitcoin ETFs generated $1.3 billion in inflows during the first two weeks of May.

It is worth noting that these inflows completely offset outflows throughout April. With that in mind, Balchunas said it's best not to get excited about short-term inflows and outflows because that's the normal life of ETFs. However, expect inflows to exceed outflows in the long term.
