Ewan Marshall, Group Chief Financial Officer of CMC Markets (LON: CMCX), has resigned and will leave the company in January 2024. He will also step down as director of the London-listed company and take up the position of Chief Financial Officer at IntegraFin Holdings.
CMC has highlighted that it will begin searching for Marshall’s replacement soon. For the next six months at CMC, Marshall will focus on delivering his responsibilities effectively and orderly.
Marshall has served as Chief Financial Officer at CMC for the past four years. Prior to that, he held the position for a short period of four months. He joined CMC in November 2011, according to his Linkedin profile, and will part with the company after more than 12 years.
“I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the incredibly talented people at CMC over the past 11 years, and especially my last four years as CFO,” Marshall said. “The company has changed dramatically during my time here, and with recent investments in business diversification, there are strong foundations in place for the lasting success of the business.”
Brilliant career
Marshall started his career at Barclays in 2020 and then moved to Deloitte to become a manager. Prior to joining CMC, he also spent two years at HSBC as a Senior Business Partner in MI & Planning.
The company he will join next, IntegraFin, is also based in London and offers an investment platform to UK financial advisors and their clients through proprietary technology.
“Ewan has been a highly valued member of the CMC team, holding various positions since becoming part of the group in 2011. Over the past four years he has served as Chief Financial Officer, playing a crucial role in the company’s transformational journey,” said Peter Cruddas, Group CEO at CMC.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors and colleagues throughout CMC, I would like to express our gratitude to Euan for his dedication and valuable contributions during his tenure. As he moves forward in his career, we extend our best wishes for his future endeavours.”
