Colombia stocks lower at close of trade; COLCAP down 0.44% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Shares in Colombia rose after the close on Wednesday, as losses in sectors led shares lower.

At the end of trading in Colombia, it fell by 0.44%, reaching its lowest level in a month.

The best performers of the session were etb (BVC:), which rose in value by 6.67% or 5.00 points and reached 80.00 at closing. Meanwhile, Turpel SA (BVC:) continued to rise by 1.20%, or 120.00 points, to close at 10,120.00. Celsius SA (BVC:) stock rose 1.15% or 45.00 points to 3,960.00 at the end of the session.

It was the worst performance of the session Colombian Financial Corporation (BVC:), which decreased in value by 3.21% or 380.00 points and was trading at 11,440.00 levels at closing. Interconnection Electric SA ESP (BVC:) shares declined by 2.11%, or 360.00 points, to a price of 16,720.00, while Grupo Aval Acciones y Valores SA Pref (BVC:) shares declined by 0.95%, or 4.00 points, to 416.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered advancing stocks on the Columbia Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

US C coffee futures for December delivery fell 2.92%, or 7.70, to close at $256.45. Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for December delivery fell 0.31%, or 22.00, to $7,017.00, and December gold futures fell 0.38%, or 10.20, to close at $2,680.10 an ounce.

USD/COP fell 0.04% to 4,183.50, while BRL/COP fell 1.15% to 769.11.

US dollar index futures rose 0.45% to 101.39.
