Guests of the Disney World theme park will have the opportunity to enjoy unusual experiences during a special celebration.

These festivities include several nightly fireworks, light shows, cooking specials, and an array of parades featuring many of Disney’s famous characters.
While guests don’t get much chance to interact with Disney characters during special parades and shows, visitors do get a chance in certain parks to encounter the characters in different areas of the parks. Meet and greets are a popular part of the Disney parks, including Disneyland for the Mickey and Minnie meet and greet. Disney World parks also have their share of character encounters. Magic Kingdom presents Enchanted Tales with Belle from “Beauty and the Beast,” while guests can meet Donald Duck or Goofy in Pete’s Silly Sideshow or meet Ariel the Little Mermaid in her cave, all three encounters taking place in Fantasyland.
Mirabelle from “Encanto” will join the cast of Magic Kingdom characters and welcome guests to Fairytale Garden starting in fall 2023. In the summer, Epcot at Disney World will feature a Figment icon to greet guests at Imagination! wing.
Watch Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park 25th Anniversary and Earth Day April 22nd with a very special moment in front of the Tree of Life, but we’ll also spend the whole month celebrating with special activities and culinary surprises. Character experiences, encounters, and meet-and-greets will be featured throughout the month, while the park will also offer unique character appearances through April 23 on the Discovery River Character Cruise. Moana will begin welcoming guests to Discovery Island starting April 22 to coincide with the anniversary and Earth Day.
Guests get rare experiences in the animal kingdom
Popular Disney characters Mickey and Minnie and Scrooge McDuck can be found on fleets of ships Discovery River In Disney’s Animal Kingdom. As usual, Mickey and Minnie can be found at Outpost for adventurers On Discovery Island and Donald Duck in dino bash at DinoLand USA
Joining the anniversaries and Earth Day celebrations will be some other rare and uncommon characters you wouldn’t normally see in Animal Kingdom and have already been seen roaming the theme park this week. Baloo and King Louie from The Jungle Book and Tinker Bell and Fawn are seen in the Tree of Life Gardens,WDW News Today mentioned.
These characters and many more commonly seen at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios and Epcot will make surprise appearances around Animal Kingdom and in fleets of ships in Discovery River.
Anniversaries, Earth Day celebrations have culinary surprises
Anniversaries and Earth Day celebrations wouldn’t be complete without special drink and dessert offerings that include the Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail featuring a brownie, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce and relish mixes at Tamu Tamu Refreshments, and Rum and Pineapple Cocktail and Honey Bee Citrus blonde beer at Dawa Bar in Africa. . Asia’s Thirsty River Bar serves Tiger Eye Gold beer and Honey Bee Citrus Blond Ale at three locations, Thirsty River Bar, Trek Snacks and Warung Outpost.
Discovery Island has interesting food items, including Flame Tree BBQ’s Flamingo Cupcake. Terra Treats has roasted mushroom and shallot pizza, Tiffins has Szechuan noodles, and Creature Comfort has beehive mousse. Restaurantosaurus at DinoLand USA has elephant cupcakes for those with a sweet tooth.
