Dow futures tick lower ahead of public holiday By Investing.com

Investing.com – U.S. stock futures traded in a mixed fashion Sunday night, with markets trading higher during Friday’s trading as weakness boosted investor sentiment.

By 6:45 PM ET (10:45 PM GMT), it was down 0.1% while flat.

The market will also close at 1:00 PM ET on the Monday before the Fourth of July holiday and will remain closed through Wednesday.

On Friday, it added 285.2 points, or 0.8%, to 34,407.6 points, it increased 53.9 points, or 1.2%, to 4,450.4 points, and it added 196.6 points, or 1.5%, to 13,787.9. Over the course of the week, the Dow Jones rose 2%, the S&P rose 2.4%, and the Nasdaq rose 2.3%.

In the bond markets, the rates were 3.838%.
