This initiative aims to support emerging Bitcoin circular economies seeking to grow through local Bitcoin education, merchant adoption, and community initiatives using Bitcoin.

Bitcoin Beach Grants participants can benefit from educational resources, grant funding, and ongoing mentorship to level up their local Bitcoin circular economy endeavors.
The application process will see participants participate in a series of online workshops, followed by an online application phase where a global evaluation panel will select the recipients. According to the announcement, detailed information about workshop schedules, application timelines and funding criteria will soon be accessible.
A total of 0.5 Bitcoin (worth $31,129 at the time of writing) has been allocated for this grant round and will be distributed among the 22 projects as follows:
- Two bonuses worth 0.05 BTC
- 10 grants worth 0.02 BTC
- 10 grants worth .01 BTC
Bitcoin Beach Grants provides educational resources, grant funding, and ongoing mentorship to advance local Bitcoin circular economy efforts. Participants will participate in online workshops and submit applications for evaluation by a global panel, with detailed timelines and criteria to be available soon.
In addition, a reserve of 0.1 BTC will be allocated based on the decisions made by the global evaluation committee after reviewing the application. This reserve aims to support as many eligible projects as possible, ensuring broad impact across Bitcoin's circular economies.
Bitcoin Beach in El Zonte, El Salvador, serves as a pivotal model for this initiative, being among the pioneers of Bitcoin circular economies and influencing the Bitcoin movement.
