Endeavor comments on media reports

London, October 7, 2024 – Endeavor Mining plc (LSE:EDV, TSX:EDV, OTCQX:EDVMF) (“Endeavor” or the “Company”) refers to media reports following a radio interview with the President of Burkina Faso, Ibrahim Traoré.

On October 5, President Traoré spoke on Radio Burkina Faso to mark the two-year anniversary of his presidency. He discussed several topics including corruption, security, transportation, agriculture and mining, including mentioning some mining permits that are likely to be cancelled.

Endeavor remains a trusted partner of the Government of Burkina Faso and can confirm that it is not currently aware of any plans to cancel any of its mining licences. The government remains supportive of Endeavor’s position in the country as evidenced by Endeavor’s recent successful settlement agreement, which included Burkina Faso, regarding the divestment of the Bongo and Wagnion mines, for which Endeavor has now received the first $30 million.
