SHAN, Liechtenstein, May 17, 2023 – EtherMailthe first Web3 email solution that sets the standard for anonymous, encrypted wallet-to-wallet communication, today announced its integration with Web3 domain professionals. Free name.

This integration extends the reach of EtherMail’s Web3 email solution to Freename domain users, allowing them to send and receive Web3 and Web2 emails on EtherMail. Instead of needing to know their full wallet address by heart, users can create custom EtherMail addresses using any Freename domain, by taking the form: freenamedomain@ethermail.io.

This announcement follows EtherMail’s recent integrations with ENS (Ethereum Name Service) and Unstoppable Domains, which expanded the reach of the Web3 email solution to millions of registered UD and ENS users.

Since the official launch of EtherMail, the platform has welcomed more than 500,000 users and has partnered with popular NFT projects such as Smurfs Society, Probably Nothing, Toxic Skulls Club, inBetweeners, and Prime Planet. EtherMail’s Web3 email solution also facilitated Web3 voting for Decrypt Studios’ inaugural 2022 Crypties Awards with over 10,000 entrants – the crypto industry’s preeminent annual awards initiative.

Earlier this year, EtherMail secured a $4 million pre-Series A funding round led by Tim Draper and Draper Associates. Having previously invested in Ethereum, Tesla, Coinbase, Polygon, and SpaceX, Draper has a proven track record of supporting powerful disruptions in the industry. This latest Series A round followed a $3 million seed round in August 2022, led by top investors Web3 Fabric Ventures and Greenfield One.

Shant Kivonian, CEO and Founder of EtherMail, said: “We are delighted to welcome Freename to our platform and integrate their domains into our Web3 email solution. This partnership allows us to offer our users the ability to communicate with easy-to-remember aliases while still taking advantage of the benefits of Web3 email, such as enhanced security, privacy, and anonymity. By combining our experience and resources, we can bring the benefits of blockchain-based communication to a broader audience, and we look forward to exploring more opportunities for future collaborations. “

Davide Vicini, CEO of Freename, said: “This integration with Ethermail represents a major step for both the Web2 and Web3 ecosystems. Long, random wallet addresses are undoubtedly a mental barrier for Web2 users to explore the Web3 space, and like EtherMail, we want to make the transition to Web2/ Web3 is as smooth as can be. We look forward to expanding our partnership with EtherMail in the coming months.”
