This integration extends the reach of EtherMail’s Web3 email solution to Freename domain users, allowing them to send and receive Web3 and Web2 emails on EtherMail. Instead of needing to know their full wallet address by heart, users can create custom EtherMail addresses using any Freename domain, by taking the form: freenamedomain@ethermail.io.
This announcement follows EtherMail’s recent integrations with ENS (Ethereum Name Service) and Unstoppable Domains, which expanded the reach of the Web3 email solution to millions of registered UD and ENS users.
Since the official launch of EtherMail, the platform has welcomed more than 500,000 users and has partnered with popular NFT projects such as Smurfs Society, Probably Nothing, Toxic Skulls Club, inBetweeners, and Prime Planet. Earlier this year, EtherMail secured a $4 million pre-Series A funding round led by Tim Draper and Draper Associates.
