Eyal Ofer listed in Forbes top 100 billionaires

Eyal Ofer climbed to Forbes magazine’s top 100 billionaires list for 2023. He ranks 86th with an estimated fortune of $18.9 billion, up from $15.4 billion last year. The second richest Israeli, according to Forbes, is his brother Idan Ofer, who ranked 127th with an estimated fortune of $14 billion, up from $10.5 billion last year.

The Israelis next in line are Russian-born brothers Igor and Dmitry Buchman, ranked 332nd, with a fortune of $7 billion each. At 352nd place came Yuri Milner with a fortune of $6.8 billion, while Steve Wertheimer and his family ranked 405th with an estimated fortune of $6.3 billion, followed by Teddy Sage at 455th with a fortune of $5.6 billion. Shari Arison is the 659th richest Israeli woman with a fortune of $4.2 billion.

Others who hold Israeli citizenship but are not listed as Israeli by Forbes include Miriam Adelson, at number 35, with a fortune of $35 billion, up from $27.5 billion in 2022. Michael Friedman is 140th with a fortune of $12.6 billion And Roman Abramovich is in 208th place with a fortune of $9.2 billion, up from $7.9 billion in 2022, despite sanctions imposed on him because of the Russia-Ukraine war.

Billionaire Patrick Drahi dropped to 636 with a fortune of $4.3 billion, which is down from $7.3 billion in 2021, according to Forbes.
