Here Are This Week’s Best Performing Cryptocurrencies: Weekend Watch

As another week passes, we will examine some of the best performing cryptocurrencies over the past seven days.

It’s safe to say that it’s been a good week for the markets, with the total market cap rising to $2.55 trillion, adding over $150 billion. This comes on the heels of a great performance on all fronts, so let’s start with Bitcoin first.

Bitcoin rises 11% in impressive rebound

Although not the best performer, Bitcoin has certainly made waves in the past seven days, rising a massive 11% in the process.

As you can see in the chart below, the price has mostly only been rising since July 14, when the price of BTC surged.

The price tried to reach the $68k level yesterday but failed as the bears preemptively stopped the rise. Now, Bitcoin is undergoing a daily correction and is trading below the $67k level.

However, her impressive performance throughout the week also had a wider impact. Cryptocurrency Market Sentimentswhich is currently in a state of greed. At 74, it is up more than 100% compared to last week, when it was in a state of fear at 33.

Best Performing Cryptocurrencies

It’s a meme world. Four of the top six coins that have performed well in the past seven days are meme coins.

The cat-themed meme POPCAT took the top spot with a 60% increase over the past week. Right behind us is dogwifhat. WIF is up 53% over the same period, followed by PEPE at 33.6% and FLOKI at 33.4%.

Among them are Arweave (AR) and Core (CORE), which are up 40% and 37%, respectively.

Other noteworthy signs, which increased by about 30%, include INJ, BONK, JUP, RUNE, TAO, and Mantra’s OM.

In fact, almost all cryptocurrencies managed to gain during the week except for UNI, AAVE, TRX, TON, ADA, and EGLD. These are the only altcoins that recorded losses, but they did not lose much. UNI is the worst performer and only dropped by 5%.
