While traditions come and go, there may be nothing more lasting than watching the Detroit Lions play on Thanksgiving. Every year of the team’s existence — except from 1939 to 1944, when the world was preoccupied with World War II — the Lions were part of Thanksgiving games.
Since 2016, they have lost every time.
That could change this year, though, as Detroit has one of the best records in the NFL and has consistently led on the field.
While you’re waiting for the turkey to finish cooking and staying away from any political debate that may be happening in your house this year, find a comfy spot on the couch and enjoy some football. You have three games to enjoy this year.
However, keep in mind that unlike a normal Thursday, none of today’s matches will be streamed on Amazon. Instead, this streaming service will have an exclusive game on Friday.
Here’s how to watch the showdowns this Thanksgiving.
