Ilya Sutskever’s SSI raising money at $30b valuation – report

Safe Superintelligence (SSI), starting the artificial intelligence that Openai founder and former chief scientist Elijah Sutsv, holds talks to raise more than a billion dollars in the company's evaluation of more than $ 30 billion “request not to identify discussion of private information.”

This is six times the assessment of the financing round last September, when the company raised about one billion dollars with a rating of $ 5 billion. The evaluation of more than 30 billion dollars would make SSI one of the most technology companies in the world. Earlier this month, Reuters reported that SSI raised money with a value of $ 20 billion – which is to reduce the reduction, according to the Bloomberg report.

SSI's current financing round continues to huge investments in artificial intelligence. At the beginning of the month, Openai announced a huge financing round of $ 6.6 billion, with a rate of $ 157 billion. Meanwhile, Illon Musk is holding talks to raise about $ 10 billion with a rating of $ 75 billion – with a sharp increase in an evaluation of $ 51 billion in the previous round, according to “Bloomberg”.

California offices and Tel Aviv

The company, which operates from California and Tel Aviv offices, was established in June 2024 by Squisfar with Daniel Gross, a former Israeli who led artificial intelligence projects in Apple and Daniel Levy, a former Openaiiii. The Israeli operation is represented by ADV. Amir Raz, who scored the company in the country and recently – as Globes revealed – rented offices in the center of Tower Tower.

The Greenoaks Capital Partners is leading the current round of SSI and plans to invest about $ 500 million. The fund, which is already invested in artificial intelligence companies, joins AI and Data Bricks, to current prominent investors such as Sequoia, Andressen Horowitz, DST Global, SV Angel and NFDG – a partially owned by Daniel Gross, one of the three founders of the company.

At the NeuPs Automated Intelligence Conference in December, Sutskever presented an innovative approach to developing artificial intelligence. “We have reached peak data and there will be no longer. As a new climbing mountain,” said 38 years old.

In a presentation of potential investors last September, SSI emphasized plans to “quietly expand” with the isolation of its progress from commercial pressure. The company, which has not yet produced revenues, explained that investors do not expect profits in the short term.
