IOG launches Lace 1.0, a new web3 platform on Cardano

Cardano’s developers, IOG, have announced the release of Lace 1.0, the network’s first lightweight wallet platform. To unite the world through web3, Lace is designed to be fast, secure and simple.

It has been independently audited, and developed with input from the community and beta testers. With Lace 1.0, one can send and receive ADA, cardano NFTs, and cardano tokens, among other digital assets.

Users can share Cardano (ADA) to protect the network and earn incentives. Users can deliver multiple assets to multiple recipients at the cost of a single transaction using the package deal functionality. As an extra precaution, Lace can be used with a hardware wallet.

ADA is doing well prior to this new development, with the asset recording a 4% increase in price valuation within 24 hours.

The dApp connector makes it easier for users to access NFT marketplaces, dApps, and DeFi services across the web 3. Visit lace.io’s official website and download the Chrome extension to get started with Lace 1.0.

What is lace?

The Lace team is working hard to improve the platform with new features, including the dApp Store, desktop app, and digital identity solutions. Fiat on/off ramps, in-wallet swaps, a more robust staking experience with multiple authorization, and portfolio offering are all things the team hopes to implement soon.

As an IOG innovation, the Lace benefits from the same rigorous academic standards and robust engineering as the rest of the brand’s offerings. The open and collaborative ideals, prevalent in all of IOG’s initiatives, helped create Lace.

With its goal of uniting the world on Web 3, Cardano’s new Lace 1.0 release is an exciting development that bodes well for a more decentralized future. Lace can bring more people into the blockchain ecosystem due to its intuitive design, built-in security measures, and ability to work with other Web3 applications.
