Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 0.62%.
The best performers of the session on the were Phoenix Holdings Ltd (TASE:), which rose 3.87% or 142.00 points to trade at 3,807.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Amot Investments Ltd (TASE:) added 2.67% or 52.00 points to end at 2,000.00 and Newmed Energy LP (TASE:) was up 2.16% or 22.00 points to 1,040.00 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sapiens International Corporation NV (TASE:), which fell 1.22% or 130.00 points to trade at 10,530.00 at the close. Camtek Ltd (TASE:) declined 0.98% or 250.00 points to end at 25,190.00 and Delek Group (TASE:) was down 0.75% or 350.00 points to 46,450.00.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 325 to 162 and 51 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.61% or 0.44 to $71.33 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.10% or 0.08 to hit $77.07 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.56% or 11.70 to trade at $2,071.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was down 0.31% to 3.61, while EUR/ILS fell 0.50% to 3.98.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 101.06.
