Israel stocks higher at close of trade; TA 35 up 0.78% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Israeli stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the banking and financial services sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the index rose by 0.78%.

The best performers in the session were: Azrael Group Ltd. (TASE:), which rose 3.42% or 800.00 points to trade at 24,200.00 at the close. Meanwhile, I die for investments General Electric Co. Ltd. (TASE:) added 2.35% or 34.00 points to close at 1,480.00 and Shabbir Engineering Industries Company TASE: shares rose 2.15%, or 40.00 points, to 1,903.00 in late trading.

The worst performance in the session was Kamtech Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) fell 2.47%, or 108.00 points, to close at 4,263.00, while Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) fell 2.47%, or 108.00 points, to close at 4,263.00. Advancing stocks outnumbered declining stocks in trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 243 to 187, while 109 remained unchanged.

Crude oil futures for November delivery rose 0.10%, or $0.07, to $70.33 a barrel. In other trading, Brent crude futures for December delivery fell 0.21%, or $0.16, to $73.69 a barrel, while gold futures for December delivery rose 1.24%, or $32.50, to trade at $2,647.10 an ounce.

The USD/ILS pair rose 0.53% to 3.78, while the EUR/ILS pair rose 0.72% to 4.22.

US dollar index futures rose 0.10% to 100.42.
