Investing.com – Israeli stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the banking and financial services sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the index rose 1.97% to reach an all-time high.
The session’s top performer was Enlight Renewable Energy Ltd (TASE:), which rose 6.05% or 351.00 points to trade at 6,150.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Energix (TASE:) added 5.45% or 69.00 points to close at 1,334.00 and Israel Company TASE: shares rose 4.94%, or 3,770.00 points, to 80,120.00 in late trading.
The worst performance in the session was Kamtech Nova Ltd. (TASE:) fell 1.69%, or 620.00 points, to close at 36,070.00 at the close. Nova Ltd. (TASE:) fell 1.66%, or 1,390.00 points, to close at 82,310.00 and Nice Ltd. (TASE:) fell 0.81%, or 540.00 points, to close at 65,840.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered declining stocks in trading on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 324 to 113, while 102 remained unchanged.
Crude oil futures for October delivery rose 2.67%, or $1.95, to $74.96 a barrel. In other trading, Brent crude futures for November delivery rose 2.33%, or $1.80, to $78.15 a barrel, while gold futures for December delivery rose 1.27%, or $32.00, to trade at $2,548.70 an ounce.
The USD/ILS pair fell 0.54% to 3.68, while the EUR/ILS pair remained unchanged, down 0.00% to 4.12.
The US dollar index fell 0.78% to 100.61.
