There have been some amazing success stories in the cryptocurrency community since its inception due to the speed at which coins can rise in value. However, just when it seems like we’ve seen it all, something else happens to remind those involved in space that anything is possible with encryption. This time, it’s a 5-digit airdrop given to individuals who did nothing but copy and paste their wallet addresses under a Twitter post.
Paste the wallet address on Twitter to get 7 ETH
On April 29, a Twitter user with over 266,000 followers known as @wsbmod posted a post asking people to stick their Ethereum wallets. The mysterious post didn’t say anything about airdrops or even if there was a token. However, some people sent their wallets out of what can be assumed as a curiosity.

The post will go unnoticed for the next couple of days, that is, until launch WSB token on the Ethereum network. As the website went live, those stuck with their wallets were told to go to the website to claim their airdrop, but what came next was completely unexpected.
With the price of the WSB token skyrocketing, airdrop claimants soon realized that their allotments were worth much more than they had imagined. According to one of the claimants, after receiving the tokens, they were able to sell them for more than 7 ETH. This was valued at the time of the claim at $13,628.

WSB Crypto Exceeds $40 Million Market Cap
News of the 5-digit airdrop quickly spread across crypto Twitter and has helped grow the digital asset so far. It peaked at a price of $0.0008 on Tuesday which saw its market capitalization rise by more than $40 million just one day after its launch.
WSB holders have grown accordingly, approaching 5,000 in a 24-hour period. Her supposed connection to the infamous Wall Street Beats subreddit played a role in her growth, too. Interestingly, WSB Liquid has grown to over $1.64 million currently closed.

WSB’s success has now spurred a new trend of airdrop token launches on Twitter that require users to paste in their Ethereum addresses. However, no one has been able to replicate WSB’s success yet.
