Pepe (PEPE), the popular frog-themed coin, continued its bull streak, rising more than 10%. Over the past few days, the price of Pepe has been rising, hitting all-time highs (ATHs) several times.
In the past 24 hours, Pepe's price jumped more than 10%, reaching $0.00001577, marking a new ATH and maintaining a strong performance streak over the past three months.
Despite the impressive rise, profit-taking by sellers pushed Pepe's price to $0.00001501, which was still 6.64% higher than its level 24 hours ago.
Data from CoinGecko shows that over the past week, Pepe has risen by 55.8%, and in the past month, it has risen by 98.8%, reclaiming its position as the third largest meme coin by market cap from Dogwifhat (WIF).
Interestingly, Pepe's price jump was accompanied by a reversal in 24-hour trading volume, which amounted to $1.469 billion, representing a 36.90% decline from the previous day.
Despite the decline, Data Binance revealed that Pepe was still one of the most traded crypto assets in the past 24 hours, bested only by BNB Coin (BNB), Bitcoin (BTC), and Ethereum (ETH).
Top players meme
Pepe remains the most widely traded meme coin, far ahead of the likes of Shiba Inu (SHIB), Floki (FLOKI), and Dogecoin (DOGE).
But among other major meme players, only SHIB, WIF, and Bonk (BONK) have registered any green in the past 24 hours.
- SHIB stock rose modestly by 1.08%.
- Bonk managed to achieve a lower ratio of 0.30%.
- WIF has fared much better, rising 3.30% to trade at $2.95 at the time of writing.
Over the course of seven days, the gains look healthier.

- WIF and BONK rose by 16.39% and 46.78%, respectively.
- Floki stock is up 12.67% over seven days (but in the last 24 hours, it lost 0.36% of its total value).
Overall, the best performing coins in the coin market over the past 24 hours have been capped coins such as Samoyed (Just),chem(Kims) and qatofat (QWIF).
