Poland stocks higher at close of trade; WIG30 up 0.11% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Polish stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the industrials and services sectors led shares higher.

At the close of trading in Warsaw, the index was up 0.11%.

The best performers in the session were: Dino Polska SA (WA:), which rose 6.34% or 19.80 points to trade at 332.10 at the close. Meanwhile, KGHM Polska Miedz SA (WA:) added 3.84% or 5.40 points to close at 146.15 and CCC SA (WA:) shares rose 2.93% or 4.50 points to 158.30 in late trading.

The worst performance in the session was Allegro Jastrzebska Spotka Weglowa SA (WA:) fell 1.91% or 0.44 points to close at 22.56 and Cyfrowy Polsat SA (WA:) fell 1.16% or 0.16 points to close at 13.62.

Advancing stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Warsaw Stock Exchange by 246 to 245, while 102 remained unchanged.

Crude oil futures for November delivery rose 2.12%, or $1.48, to $71.36 a barrel. In other trading, Brent crude futures for November delivery rose 1.87%, or $1.38, to $75.03 a barrel, while gold futures for December delivery rose 0.41%, or $10.55, to trade at $2,609.15 an ounce.

The EUR/PLN pair remained unchanged by 0.11% at 4.27, while the USD/PLN pair remained unchanged by 0.12% at 3.83.

US dollar index futures rose 0.21% to 100.50.
