Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 0.59%.

The best performers of the session on the were SAL Saudi Logistics Services Co CJSC (TADAWUL:), which rose 8.73% or 12.80 points to trade at 159.40 at the close. Meanwhile, Al Baha Investment and Development Company SJSC (TADAWUL:) added 7.69% or 0.01 points to end at 0.14 and Hail Cement Company (TADAWUL:) was up 5.97% or 0.70 points to 12.42 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Tourism Enterprise Co. (TADAWUL:), which fell 1.64% or 0.01 points to trade at 0.60 at the close. Makkah Construction&Development Co (TADAWUL:) declined 1.47% or 1.10 points to end at 73.90 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL:) was down 1.32% or 0.18 points to 13.48.

Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 193 to 83 and 22 ended unchanged.

Shares in SAL Saudi Logistics Services Co CJSC (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; gaining 8.73% or 12.80 to 159.40.

Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.54% or 0.40 to $73.49 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.26% or 0.21 to hit $79.18 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.64% or 13.20 to trade at $2,064.50 a troy ounce.

EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.06% to 4.13, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 101.36.
