Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were higher after the close on Sunday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the gained 1.15% to hit a new 52-week high.
The best performers of the session on the were Saudi Research and Marketing Group (TADAWUL:), which rose 10.00% or 18.60 points to trade at 204.60 at the close. Meanwhile, Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:) added 9.56% or 1.92 points to end at 22.00 and Arab Sea Information Systems Co SJSC (TADAWUL:) was up 8.44% or 0.59 points to 7.58 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:), which fell 3.25% or 0.62 points to trade at 18.48 at the close. Filing & Packing Materials Co. (TADAWUL:) declined 3.00% or 1.70 points to end at 55.00 and Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (TADAWUL:) was down 2.76% or 5.00 points to 176.20.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 180 to 97 and 22 ended unchanged.
Shares in Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:) rose to all time highs; gaining 9.56% or 1.92 to 22.00.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 2.44% or 1.76 to $73.95 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 1.69% or 1.31 to hit $78.90 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.13% or 2.60 to trade at $2,052.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.09% to 4.10, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 102.14.
