Service Now (New York Stock Exchange: Now) Announced new collaborations in the field of generative artificial intelligence with Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) and IBM (New York Stock Exchange: IBM) on Wednesday at the Knowledge 2024 Conference in Las Vegas.
ServiceNow is integrating IBM's Watsonx into its Now Platform as well as IBM's watsonx.ai and IBM Granite builds large language models in Now Assist GenAI.
“The Now platform helps customers deploy the LLM that best fits their unique needs, and integrating Watsonx models will help customers create easier, more efficient and seamless experiences,” said CJ Desai, Chief Operating Officer at ServiceNow.
The new integrated service is expected to be available on Thursday, May 9.
ServiceNow also announced an expanded alliance with Microsoft, combining Now Assist and Copilot.
The combination of ServiceNow and Microsoft AI assistants aims to improve productivity, as Copilot will be able to send employee requests to Now Assist in Microsoft Teams.
“Whether it's requesting or resolving a customer support issue, or even contacting a live agent for support on a complex issue, Now Assist will provide employees with answers to questions as well as recommend actions and next steps in a conversational manner,” ServiceNow explained.
Companies are also creating additional capabilities, such as allowing employees to engage Copilot from ServiceNow to create documents in PowerPoint or other Microsoft 365 applications.

ServiceNow provides a cloud platform for enterprise management and IT.
