“I think the governor should sit with them,” he said on CNBC on April 27. “I don’t think building a prison next to where you bring your families is the best idea.”

DeSantis floated the idea of building a prison near the Disney World theme park in Orlando on April 17.
“At the same point, if you’re going to be a business owner within this state, you also have to abide by the rules and run your business, and I don’t think you should go into politics,” McCarthy said.
Now, the conflict is heading to court. Disney filed a lawsuit against DeSantis on April 26.
Disney’s lawsuit asserts that DeSantis’ move for political control of the Reedy Creek Improvement District, and Disney World site, is “patently vindictive, anti-business, and patently unconstitutional.”
The Board of Supervisors of the Central Florida Tourism Control District voted on April 26 to cancel a set of agreements Disney made with Reedy Creek earlier this year that would have allowed the company to control the board of directors that governs the special business district, according to WESH 2 News in Orlando.
