Taiwan stocks higher at close of trade; Taiwan Weighted up 1.79% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Shares in Taiwan rose after the close on Tuesday, as gains in Taiwan stocks led shares higher.

At the end of trading in Taiwan, the stock rose 1.79%.

Among today’s leading stocks was Arima Communications (TW:), which rose 350.24%, or 7.39 points, to trade at 9.50 at the close. Meanwhile, EZCON Company (TW:) rose 9.97%, or 36.00 points, to close at 397.00, while Epileds Technologies Inc (TW:) rose 9.96%, or 2.65 points, to 29.25 at the end of the session.

It was the worst performance of the session Kaori Hit Therapy Company Limited (TW:) shares decreased by 9.99%, or 39.00 points, and traded at 351.50 levels at close. Lead data Inc (TW:) fell by 9.85%, or 0.39 points, to 3.57, while Formosa Oilseed Processing Co Ltd (TW:) fell by 5.73%, or 7.50 points, to 123.50.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising stocks on the Taiwan Stock Exchange by 0 to 0.

Crude oil futures for November delivery fell 1.66%, or 1.28, to close at $75.86 per barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent crude for December delivery fell 1.59%, or 1.29, to $79.64 a barrel, while December gold futures fell 0.06%, or 1.60, to $2,664.40 an ounce.

USD/THB rose 0.06% to 32.20, while TWD/CNY rose 0.55% to 0.22.

US Dollar Futures fell 0.12% to 102.18.
