The NFT market has seen a 4.2% decrease in sales volume in the past seven days.
This drop comes after a decent 7.68% rise as reported in the latest weekly NFT sales column. Latest data from CryptoSlam The data shows that the volume of NFT sales in the past seven days reached $73.75 million.
The figures were down 4.2% from $109 million in sales the previous week.
Although NFT sales volume dropped to double digits, there was a 132% increase in the number of NFT buyers. Cryptoslam data shows that there were 521,640 NFT buyers while the number of NFT sellers was 270,413.
Interestingly, NFT transactions have dropped by more than 26% in the past seven days to 1,217,967. Let’s take a closer look at the blockchains that dominated during this period.
Ethereum and Solana top the list
According to the data, Ethereum (ETH) maintained its top spot with $23.9 million in NFT sales. However, the network saw sales drop by over 9.6% compared to the previous week. Interestingly, 12.24% of the sales came from fake trading.
Solana (SOL) took the second spot with $16 million in sales. Bitcoin (BTC), Polygon (POL), and Binance Coin (BNB) took the next three spots with $13 million, $7.5 million, and $3.3 million in sales, respectively.
Washing operations recorded the lowest percentage for the BNB network, while Solana and Bitcoin recorded 6.41% and 4.54% respectively.
Cryptoslam data highlights a 17.89% increase in NFT sales volume on the Solana network and a 51.3% increase on Polygon.
The Guild of Guardians Heroes set is the best set.
Guild of Guardians’ Immutable-Zk series took the top spot for highest sales volume. The NFT collection recorded $2.86 million in sales volume across 5,786 transactions.
In second place is the DogeZuki Collection on Solana with $2.4 million in sales, after 61,447 trades. DogeZuki maintained its strong position just like last week.
In third place on the list is the Ethereum blockchain coin Sorare with sales of $2.368 million. The NFT collection saw a total of 108,690 transactions.
On the other hand, CryptoPunks recorded 25 transactions with a sales volume of $2.2 million, ranking fourth. DMarket on the Mythos blockchain ranks fifth on the list with sales of $2.1 million and 80,713 transactions.
