XRP Documentary Feat Ripple CTO Set For November Premiere

Los Angeles-based Fruition Productions has officially announced the release of a new documentary in November titled “XRP Unleashed.” It has been revealed. The company plans to self-distribute the film through a separate publication on Via X, focusing on a strategic shift away from traditional Hollywood channels that have shown waning interest in supporting non-affiliated newcomers. The documentary will be made available on platforms such as Apple TV and Amazon.

“We are excited to announce that we are targeting the launch of XRP this November! We have taken matters into our own hands and are looking to self-distribute. This means that the documentary will be available on a few platforms such as Apple TV and Amazon without their support,” Fruition Production revealed.

What will XRP Unleashed show?

In a post on the X website, Fruition Production explained the distribution decision in more detail: “In an era where Hollywood is struggling with major shifts and a lack of enthusiasm for experimental content from new creators, self-distribution allows us to maintain creative control and reach our audience directly without the need for corporate approvals.”

Ripple CTO David Schwartz will appear in one of the most prominent documentary films. Notably, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse and other top executives will not appear in the documentary: “Brad and his executive team are reluctant to appear even though we interviewed David[Schwartz]. When you see the scope of what we cover, I really don’t blame them at all. The resistance is in the form of demanding too many concessions in the story, and then arbitrary celebrities.”

The documentary’s independence from platforms like Netflix has been highlighted in the wake of community speculation about potential partnerships. “There was no formal partnership with Netflix,” Frochs explained. “Collaborating with such platforms often entails significant creative compromises and involves multiple middlemen that can dilute the message of the documentary.”

“XRP Unleashed” seeks to analyze Ripple Labs’ legal battle with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), a saga that just ended with a ruling on August 7. The film promises to provide in-depth analysis through interviews with prominent figures involved in the SEC, including influencers, financial analysts, legal experts, and Ripple’s internal team.

The conference will cover the SEC’s fight to create a clear legal framework for XRP, the impact this could have on international banking and finance, and the technological underpinnings of XRP and its potential applications in areas such as asset tokenization and central bank digital currencies (CBDCs).

In response to the online discussion surrounding the documentary, Fruition Productions has cleared up many of the questions. The studio confirmed plans to release a new trailer two weeks before the premiere, aiming to provide a sneak peek into the meticulous research and groundbreaking discoveries the film promises to deliver.

The documentary’s pricing and distribution model were also topics of interest to the community, with Fruition noting that “initially, the documentary will be available for rent. We are considering moving to an ad-supported platform in the coming years to ensure broader accessibility.”

Regarding the potential release timing in line with XRP market movements, the studio commented, “Aligning our release with the peak of the XRP market price could amplify the impact of the documentary and benefit the community, although such timing may be coincidental.”

At the time of publishing this report, XRP was trading at $0.5969.
