Anti-government protests continue in Israel today, with major roads blocked, including Route 531 from Raanana to Herzliya, the Hakfar Hayarok Junction, Route 4 at the Raanana-Kfar Saba Junction, Rajer Street in Beersheba, the Habel Junction in Tel Aviv, Route 6 at the Hakama Junction, the Orot Rabin Junction on Route 2, the Nahalal Junction, the Beit Oved Junction, the Rosh Pina Junction, and several intersections within cities. A protest march is also taking place in southern Tel Aviv.

At 6:29 a.m. today, activists gathered outside the homes of eighteen coalition members, including Transportation Minister Miri Regev, Strategic Affairs Minister Ron Dermer, Defense Minister Yoav Galant, Agriculture Minister Avi Dichter, Economy Minister Nir Barkat, Foreign Minister Yisrael Katz, MK Yuli Edelstein, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, and MK Eli Dalal. The activists demanded immediate action to return the Israeli hostages held in the Gaza Strip and to hold early general elections.

Riots and various demonstrations are expected throughout the country. In the afternoon, a march will set off to the Histadrut (General Federation of Labor in Israel) headquarters on Arlozorov Street in Tel Aviv, to pressure the Histadrut to support the protests with a strike. At 19:00, a demonstration led by the families of the hostages will take place in front of the IDF headquarters in Tel Aviv. A march will set off in Jerusalem from Sacher Park to the Prime Minister’s Residence.

Last night, tens of thousands of people took part in marches across Israel, where the released hostages and family members of the hostages still being held spoke, demanding that the government agree to a deal to release the remaining hostages and hold immediate elections.

The IDF reported that about twenty shells were fired from Lebanon towards the Lower Galilee this morning, some of which were intercepted, and fires broke out in the Tiberias area.
