Nahid Islam, a 26 -year -old prominent student, was named as party president. Nine other officials – all of whom were the leaders of the students who rose to the lead during the collective uprising in July and August – were named at high positions, according to the media, Bangladesh.

Islam and its colleagues were holding a campaign for months for the trial of Hasina for hundreds of deaths during the July uprising to August. The leaders of the student participating in the new party also spoke strongly against India, accused of the country adjacent to the hegemony of Bangladesh, which led to a sharp reaction from India.

Who finances the new party?

After installing the interim government, Yunus has repeatedly said that he was appointed by students who led the anti -Jezina uprising.
