Banks pledge more hubs to meet community cash needs

Plans to launch ten additional banking centers across the northeast and Cumbria, in an attempt to support customers and companies left by the branches on a large scale.

The proposed sites include Barnard Castle in Durham County and Kokramouth in Compera and the Gulf of Witti in North Tendaid.

Each center, which is managed by the Post Office and with the support of the main banks, provides basic services such as cash withdrawals, bills and deposits payments, along with scheduled days when Hight Street representatives are on the site to deal with the most complex transactions.
