  • They are working on ways to convince him, as they feel he cannot win against former President Trump.
  • They need to convince Biden on several points:
    • He won’t be able to win against Trump.
    • Vice President Kamala Harris can defeat Trump.
    • The transition to another candidate will be organized.

The discussions have not yet reached Biden himself, as talks are taking place outside the group closest to Biden.

The president continues to convince people that he has a better chance of winning than Vice President Harris.

  • The White House has denied the story, insisting that Biden’s team strongly supports him. Biden’s closest advisers and family insist he will stay in the race.
