(Reuters) – CDK Global (NASDAQ:) does not expect to restore the ongoing outage caused by a cyber attack in its dealer management software, which is used by dealers across the United States, before the end of the month, according to a memo seen by CDK Global. Reuters on Tuesday.

The auto industry technology and software provider will not be able to go live to all dealers before June 30, and has asked them to make alternative plans for financial closes at the end of the month, according to the memo CDK sent to dealers.

The company, which reported the cyberattack last week, did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

CDK’s ongoing outage has forced some U.S. auto dealers to revert to manual paperwork as the company works to restore systems used by more than 15,000 retail locations.

The cyberattack affected about half of Volkswagen (ETR:) and about 60% of Audi dealers in the United States, according to a source familiar with the matter.
