Major European stock indices closed mostly higher. The only exception is the German DAX index. France's CAC rose 0.20% which was good enough for a new record close. Britain's FTSE 100 index closed higher but fell short of the record high it reached on Friday at 8,433.75. It closed at 8428.14.

As London/European traders exited, US stocks were little changed

The Russell 2000 small-cap index was up 18.83 points, or 0.91%, at 2,080.95.

- The two-year yield is 4.87%, -3.0 basis points
- The 5-year yield is 4.470%, -2.9 basis points
- 10-year yield 4.461%, -2.0 basis points.
- The 30-year yield is 4.613%, -0.9 basis points.
Crude oil is moving lower today with a decline of -$1.21 or -1.53% at $77.91. This brings the price back below the 100-day moving average at $78.42. Staying below is more bearish. The low price from last week reached $76.89. The price closed below the 100-day level on Friday but rose yesterday. Sellers are playing. Can they maintain control?
Bitcoin is trading at $61,474. Today's high price reached $63,075. The low is $61,108. Bitcoin price is below its 100-day moving average at $62,153. The price has been trading above and below the 100-day moving average over the past few weeks (at different times). The low price was reached on the day it fell below the 100-day moving average on May 1st. The low price reached $56,500 but quickly rebounded. Since then, the breakouts have been met with limited downside momentum.
