GameStop Should Buy Bitcoin Says Scaramucci, RoaringKitty Streams For the First Time in years

GameStop and its stock price have been a talking point for many traditional cryptocurrency-focused finance communities over the past few days — and not without reason.

The price of GME saw huge swings this week, rising 130% and falling 55% shortly after.

Many financial experts have shared opinions, one of them is the prominent BTC permabull – Anthony Scaramucci.

GameStop has been so angry this week that almost everyone even remotely interested in so-called meme trading was anticipating a Keith Gill influx today.

Gill, who is perhaps best known by his alias Roaring Kitty, went live on YouTube hours ago for the first time in nearly four years, but we'll get to that in a moment.

Earlier today, GameStop filed to sell up to 75 million additional shares as the price rose above $60. The market did not take this well, and GME shares are down over 50% today, currently trading at less than $30.

Anthony Scaramucci of SkyBridge Capital came up with an interesting suggestion.

Keith Gill's live stream on YouTube was one of the most anticipated events of the day.

Gill, who famously built a massive position in GME and then became a leading figure behind the stock's massive rise in 2020, was speaking live on Broadcasting Which received more than half a million views in a few hours.

It is worth noting that many of the GME-inspired memes were trending higher before the influx. However, as the stock price fell today, these coins also fell.

For example, overall GDP and annual return on results fell by about 25% and 35%, respectively, along the same path. None of them are affiliated with Gill, at least not officially.

During the broadcast, Roaring Kitty confirmed that he is still holding his positions and has not opened new positions.
