Last year, McLaren Racing and cryptocurrency
exchange OKX expanded their existing partnership, giving OKX increased
visibility on the team’s F1 cars and driver suits, Finance Magnates reported.
This move reflected the growing involvement of companies in the world of
Formula One.

The new agreement, which occurred a year after the initial
partnership, granted OKX an opportunity to place its logo on the sidepods of
the McLaren MCL60 car for seven races, including the Australian Grand Prix.
Additionally, OKX’s logo was displayed on the racing suits of drivers Lando
Norris and Oscar Piastri throughout the 2023 season.
Similarly, crypto exchange Kraken inked a global
partnership deal with Williams Racing last year, becoming the team’s first
official crypto and Web 3 partner. This partnership enabled Kraken to display
its logo on the Williams FW45 car’s halo and rear wing throughout the 2023
season.
Additionally, the branding featured on drivers’ attire
and team’s headwear. Beyond branding, Kraken engaged
with fans through various initiatives. This included participating in Williams
Racing fan zone activities and developing educational content introducing F1
fans to Web3 technology.
