Israel stocks lower at close of trade; TA 35 down 0.23% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Israeli stocks fell after the close on Sunday, as losses in sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the index fell by 0.23%.

The best performers of the session were Kamtek Ltd (TASE:), which rose 4.77% or 1,390.00 points and reached 30,500.00 at the close. On the other hand, NICE Ltd (TASE:) shares continued to rise by 3.28%, or 2,070.00 points, to close at 65,270.00, while Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) shares increased by 2.94%, or 480.00 points, to 16,780.00 at the end of the session.

As for the weakest performance at the end of today’s trading, Energean Oil & Gas PLC (TASE:) stock closed down 3.33%, or 153.00 points, and traded at 4,435.00 at the close. Newmed Energy LP (TASE:) was down 2.87%, or 29.00 points, at 982.00, while Harel (TASE:) was down 2.59%, or 92.00 points, at 3,460.00.

The number of declining shares outnumbered the gaining shares on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 266 shares compared to 170 shares, and 103 shares closed without change.

Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) shares rise to 5-year highs; It rose 2.94% or 480.00 to 16,780.00.

Crude oil futures for November delivery rose 1.00%, or 0.74, to close at $74.45 per barrel. As for trading in other commodities, the price of Brent crude for December delivery rose 0.67%, or 0.52, and reached $78.14 per barrel, while gold futures contracts for December fell 0.22%, or 6.00, and closed at $2,673.20 per ounce.

USD/NIS rose 0.26%, to 3.81, while EUR/NIS fell 0.24%, to 4.18.

US Dollar Index futures rose 0.52% to 102.28.
