After a decade at Oanda TMS Brokers, Jakub Zagorski has announced his return to the automotive sector. In a post shared on LinkedIn, Zagorski expressed his excitement at joining Flex to Go Group, a car rental company.
Shifting from finance to the automobile industry
“I also thank all the colleagues I have had the pleasure of working with over the past few years at Oanda TMS Brokers, which is successfully headed by Marcin Niwiadumski. Prior to assuming his position at Oanda TMS Brokers, Zagorski held important positions in prestigious organizations in the automotive and financial sectors. During his tenure, the company underwent a successful sale to a strategic investor, marking a significant milestone for the private equity-backed company.
Prior to TMS Brokers, Zagorski contributed to Volvo Auto Polska, where he served as CFO for a long time. His accomplishments during this time included leading numerous cost saving initiatives, enhancing revenue streams, and orchestrating the creation and growth of Volvo Cars' financial services division.
Additionally, Zagorski played a pivotal role in implementing financial systems such as Hyperion and SAP SRM, demonstrating his proficiency in financial management and technology integration.
Zagórski's career journey also includes roles such as CFO and Dealership Business Manager, where he demonstrated his prowess in financial analysis and strategic planning in the automotive industry.
