Prosperity of fools? BitBoy expects BTC bull run on April 1

5

Ben Armstrong, widely known as “Bitboy” in the crypto community, recently made some interesting predictions regarding Bitcoin and XRP prices during his appearance on the latest episode of Tony Edwards’ “Thinking Crypto” YouTube show.

The former millionaire influencer has explained his views on the upcoming market dynamics, offering both hope and caution to crypto enthusiasts.

“I was a big believer in April Fools’ Day (for this bull market) next year,” Armstrong told Edward. “I think it’s a great day to fool around.”

Armstrong reiterated his belief that the next major Bitcoin (BTC) rally could begin on April 1, 2025, and could peak between April and the end of June.

He explained that Bitcoin will see big gains, but warned against expecting very big increases.

“Bitcoin will not go above $150,000,” Armstrong said, noting that a peak of $140,000 was a more realistic target. He acknowledged the possibility of a temporary spike to $170,000 or $180,000, but remained cautious about such an outcome.

“Institutions and people with deep pockets who buy during these times, during these dips, you see whales piling up and people saying, ‘I don’t know if bull runs are going to come back’… There’s a zero percent chance that bull runs are not going to come back,” he said.

BitBoy: $8-10 XRP Range Is “Almost a Sure Thing”

Regarding Ripple (XRP), Armstrong cited recent developments that have cleared up regulatory uncertainty surrounding the cryptocurrency. On August 7, a judge ruled that Ripple must pay a $125 million fine for violating securities laws through its institutional sales of XRP.

Armstrong expects XRP to reach $8 to $10 — a range he considers “almost certain.” He also speculated on possible scenarios that could push XRP higher, such as an ETF or IPO, though he remains skeptical that these events will materialize before the current bull run ends.

Armstrong’s insights also touched on the broader market impact, noting that funds flowing into XRP could detract from other cryptocurrencies, with Cardano (ADA) likely to be one of the hardest hit.

In conclusion, Armstrong’s forecast offers a mix of optimism and caution, urging investors to set realistic expectations while recognizing the potential for significant gains. As the cryptocurrency market continues to evolve, all eyes will be on Bitcoin and XRP as they navigate the next phase of their bull run.
