At the Association of the United States Army’s annual meeting and exhibition scheduled to begin Monday, state-owned Israeli defense company Rafael Advanced Defense Systems will unveil unmanned air defense systems designed to provide ground forces with comprehensive protection and lethal capabilities. The solution includes a laser-based Lite Beam system and a Samson 30 mm remote weapon system mounted on four-wheeled vehicles. It gives ground forces broad and flexible protection against advanced aerial threats such as drones.

In addition, Rafael will showcase the enhanced capabilities of its Trophy active protection system for military vehicles, which has proven successful against a variety of threats on the battlefield of today’s war. The system has neutralized various threats, including anti-tank missiles and rockets, enhancing the survivability of armored vehicles. The system is currently operating on seventeen different platforms around the world, such as armored personnel carriers and tanks.
