Ripple warns on fake XRP airdrops amid US ruling

After the recent ruling, the price of XRP increased by 66%, but fake scams appeared. CTO Ripple warned users about the scam.

Ripple CTO David Schwartz warned that scammers will try to defraud users. He confirmed that there will be no official airdrops of XRP.

Crypto Law, an organization that specializes in cryptocurrency regulation, has also warned of an increase in fraudulent accounts taking advantage of the XRP ruling. They advised users to be wary of fraudulent accounts appearing on their feeds. Crypto Code also urged not to click on links but to report and block them.

Such accounts falsely claim to be linked to XRP, and promote fake airdrops. The organization confirmed that these accounts are frauds aimed at taking advantage of the current situation.
