The Bitcoin protocol is unique in that it has no institution or institutional entity supporting its development. Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin, disappeared nearly a decade ago, leaving the Bitcoin community to oversee its development. Charitable organizations, such as Brink, have become a popular way for donors to contribute to the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Samara’s donation demonstrates her commitment to seeing the Bitcoin community thrive. The company is said to be exploring international listing in order to increase trading liquidity and gain access to new potential shareholders.
