The Cowboy Is Off The Reservation

I just sat and watched This discussion Between Jimmy Song and Jameson Loop on Bitcoin Boss. I do not even know where to start as absurd and broken “logic” in every argument made by Jimmy in this discussion. So I will not try, I will focus on one specific line of the controversy he presented.

“The money should not change, it should be expected.”

He spoke specifically according to these lines with regard to “allowing mature matters” in this space from an artistic point of view, and we included that the promotions to Bitcoin “pull the rug from” the current developers who build things.

Don’t Jimmy understand how Bitcoin works? SoftForks has been used for more than a decade Specifically to address the interest in the backward compatibility. That is, you are able to say with 100 % certainty that everything that has been built so far will continue to work in the same way. All promotions to Bitcoin are subscribed, everything previously exists will work well and nothing should be changed to support new jobs if the developer or user does not want to.

There is no zero technical basis for Jimmy data or arguments at all this way. New functions that allow building new protocols or tools do nothing at all to prevent continued performance of the pre -existing systems.

So what does he say? For me, it seems to be an argument for economic protection. There is no threat, risks or problem created for the previously existing systems after the upgrade except for the possibility that superior systems are created after the upgrade and users choose to use them instead. This is the only cohesive argument that is drawn from these phrases.

Are we seriously at the point where “supporters of discrimination” argues to make protective decisions for current investments in the current classes and regulations?
