This won’t be a quiet hurricane season

0 13

Today we have seen the first major hurricane of the year to hit the United States. And it won’t be the last, as hurricane season doesn’t peak until September.

The good news is that there are no systems anywhere in the Atlantic that look likely to develop in the next few days. The bad news comes from Deutsche Bank’s Jim Reid, who says that the 10 warmest years have all occurred in the past decade, with this year the most notable.

“Storm formation and hurricane development are complex, but given the sea temperature correlation above, it is striking to see today’s chart showing how far 2024 deviates from the global sea temperature range over the past 44 years of data,” Reed writes.

Justin posted a great post earlier today about global warming and some things to consider about this trading topic.
