The S&P 500 hit an all-time high today at 5,523 (and counting). This marks the 32nd day the index has hit a record high in the first half of the year.
Today, Deutsche Bank compares the number of records set this year against historical norms. In short, this year was one of the best ever, with the sixth highest number of records ever set since 1928.

Only one other ATH was seen that year. 1987 saw 14 other H2 ATHs before the crash in October of that year.”
